         This was written after I constructed the memorial to my 'Grannie and Grandad' at their grave site at the Hill Cemetery in southwest Parker county Texas.

THE McCARTY MEMORIAL

 

For family members nothing need be said. You know. You understand.

 

For others who knew Virgil and Mirtie the only admission is an element of remembrance and respect. You too can understand the tribute to two very special souls.

 

For those who did not know Virgil Elmer McCarty and Alba Mirtie Jones, you missed something special. Admission is still free but words cannot fully explain the level of honor, love and respect that surrounds this cherished memorial to our departed loved ones.
